1. Definitions and Interpretation

- "Account" means the user account created to access Judix services
- "Content" means all text, data, information, software, graphics, and materials available through the Platform
- "Legal Professional" means advocates, solicitors, legal consultants, law students (final year), paralegals, and employees of law firms or legal departments
- "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person
- "Subscription" means the paid access plan chosen by the User
- "User" or "You" means any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform
2. Platform Description and Scope
2.1 Service Overview
Judix provides AI-powered legal research tools including:
- Intelligent search across Indian legal judgments and statutes
- AI-generated case summaries and legal analysis
- Document drafting assistance
- Legal precedent identification
- Citation and reference management

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements
3.1 Eligibility Criteria
To use Judix, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a Legal Professional as defined above, OR be a law student enrolled in a recognized law school (final year or post-graduate)
- Have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
3.2 Account Management
- One account per individual user only - account sharing is strictly prohibited
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are solely responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breaches
4. Subscription Plans and Payment Terms
4.1 Available Plans
- Free Trial: 30-day trial for new users with limited features
- Monthly Plan: Month-to-month subscription
- Quarterly Plan: 3-month subscription with discount
- Annual Plan: 12-month subscription with maximum discount
4.2 Payment Terms
- All subscriptions require advance payment
- Accepted payment methods: UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes
- All renewals are manual - automatic renewal is NOT enabled
- Users must renew via the "My Account" section before expiration
No Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods, early termination, or account suspension. You may cancel future renewals at any time without penalty.
5. Permitted Use and Restrictions
5.1 Permitted Uses
You may use Judix for:
- Legal research and case analysis
- Drafting legal documents and arguments
- Professional legal work and consultation
- Educational purposes (for law students)
- Internal firm research and knowledge management
5.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Use automated scripts, bots, or data mining tools
- Scrape, copy, or systematically download Platform content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify Platform software
- Share login credentials or provide unauthorized access
- Use the Platform for any commercial data harvesting
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Interfere with Platform security or functionality
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Platform Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in Judix, including software, algorithms, AI models, user interface design, database structure, and proprietary methodologies, are exclusively owned by Judix Technologies Private Limited.
6.2 User Content
- You retain ownership of documents you upload
- You grant us a limited license to process uploaded content for service provision
- We do not claim ownership over your work products created using Judix
- You represent that uploaded content does not violate third-party rights
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 Data Collection and Use
We collect and process:
- Account information (name, email, professional details)
- Usage analytics and platform interaction data
- Uploaded documents and search queries
- Payment and billing information
- Technical data (IP address, device information, browser type)
Data Security
User documents are stored securely using encrypted cloud storage. We implement industry-standard security measures and data is stored on servers located in India. You may delete your uploaded documents at any time.
8. Third-Party Services and Integrations
Judix integrates with Google Workspace (authentication and document storage), payment processors (Razorpay, PayU, etc.), cloud infrastructure providers, and analytics services. Use of these services is subject to their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.
9. Service Availability and Support
9.1 Service Availability
We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
9.2 Customer Support
- Support available via email, WhatsApp, and in-app chat
- Support hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM IST, Monday to Sunday
- Response time: Within 24 hours for general queries, within 4 hours for technical issues
10. Account Termination and Suspension
10.1 Termination by User
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not affect the current subscription period.
10.2 Termination by Judix
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately upon violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, non-payment of fees, or threats to Platform security.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Service Disclaimers
JUDIX IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. We disclaim all warranties regarding MERCHANTABILITY, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted service.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Judix Technologies Private Limited from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or breach of third-party rights.
13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Dispute Resolution Process

- If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may proceed to arbitration
- Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015
14. General Provisions
14.1 Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and Platform notifications. Changes become effective 30 days after notification.
14.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in full effect.
